On Sundays before service we spend a few minutes catching up with each other around the coffee bar, The Warrior Café.
At 10:30 a.m. we have a time of praise and worship with contemporary music followed by a message from God's word delivered with a dynamic preaching style.
Our Wednesday Evening Bible Study begins with a prayer and relevant teachings.
You can learn more about our several types of service offerings by clicking on Services and Events.
When it comes to our music - we believe that worship music is a powerful way to add to the worship service.
We worship with contemporary music that connects to the preaching while communicating and teaching God’s Word and love for all of us. Sometimes it may be a slow soft song or sometimes it might be an upbeat song to celebrate joy and thankfulness.
Our worship time is guided by his Holy Spirit and may change based on his leading.

Where do I go when I get to the church?
When you arrive, you will be met by a member of our First Impressions Team. If it is your first time, they will show you around and if needed, to the nursery area or to the Children’s Church area.
Do you have services for children?
C.O.O.L. Avenue Children’s church is held during the morning worship service for children ages five to twelve.
In addition, The nursery is available for children four and under.
What should I wear?
We want you to come just as you are. On any given Sunday, there will be people in dresses/suits and people in jeans and T-Shirts. We want you to be comfortable. God cares about your heart, not your clothes – and so do we!
Can I wear jewelry or makeup?
Absolutely! While we know that each denomination has differing doctrines regarding things like jewelry, makeup, hair length and dress, we believe that God sees us from the inside out and should not mandate to others how they should dress. We truly believe that we should all come just as we are.
What Bible should I read from?
There are literally hundreds of published versions of the Bible in the English language. Pastor Rick preaches from the King James Version, however the best version for you is a personal choice. Your Bible should be your study guide and a go-to resource for all of life’s interactions. It is important that you choose a version that will allow you to be able to easily read and understand the richness of God’s word. If you need help choosing a version that is right for you, we are happy to help you explore your options
Do you sing from hymnals?
We believe that the music we find in hymnals are part of our rich history and we cherish the songs we find in them, however in our weekly worship services we primarily sing contemporary praise and worship choruses which we feel often provide worshipers with the opportunity of more intimate moments of personal worship.
