MISSIONS

The Hearts of Hope CERT (Community Emergency Response Team) works to show the love of Christ by responding to emergencies and natural disasters throughout the United States. Trained as chaplains, certified in first aid and willing to do whatever it takes to help.

We are very active in our community and have an annual Halloween dinner, a free yard-sale with household items and clothes, provide Thanksgiving dinners to local families, participate in Angel Tree during the holidays, and an annual Vacation Bible School.

The community cabinet is located at the front doors of  HWC at 136 Elizabeth Street.  It is stocked with non-perishable can items and personal care items.  At times, we have veggies - follow us on fb to stay informed.

The concept is to take what you need and give when you can.  The Cabinet is open 24/7.

Every December, we partner with churches all around the country to deliver necessary basic household items to underprivileged children in four different counties. Items such as food, blankets, socks, and school supplies. In addition, we provide bicycles as well as a holiday party complete with Santa Claus, face painting, toys, games and music.
